QUICK AND EASY TO INSTALL

Isover’s cavity batt glass wool insulation is lightweight, resilient and flexible, which makes it easy to handle and fast to fix on site. Available in a range of widths, the batts and rolls are designed to fit between standard wall ties or push fit between timber frame studs with virtually no cutting and very little waste. The flexible nature of the glass mineral wool allows it to follow any uneven surfaces; minimising gaps and unintended air movement that can lead to heat loss.

NON-COMBUSTIBLE

Isover glass mineral wool insulation ranges are classed as ‘non-combustible’ by building regulations firms.  The CWS and Timber Frame ranges conform to the Euroclass A1 fire rating – the best attainable. Our specialist cavity barrier products are also designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within concealed cavities, providing up to 120 minutes of fire protection.

ACOUSTIC

Isover glass mineral wool, with its outstanding acoustic performance, is the perfect material for reducing the noise transmitted both through the structure of a building and also via concealed cavities. For this reason glass mineral wool is generically referenced throughout national Building Regulations and Robust Details.
RECYCLED CONTENT

Isover’s glass mineral wool is manufactured from up to 80% recycled glass.  In addition, all Isover UK manufactured glass wool insulation received a ‘Good’ rating under BES 6001 the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products framework.
